The 10th International APICTA Awards 2010 was held on Friday, October 15, 2010, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, Malaysia with a total of 180 nominations from 16 member economies for 16 categories. “From a small member base of 5 countries in the first International APICTA Awards, we have now grown to include 17 nations across the Asia-Pacific region, most recently adding Taiwan to our ranks,” said Sutee Satanasathapon, Chairman of APICTA. The 16 member economies of APICTA are Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Since it started in 2001, the awards programme has recognized and rewarded the innovation of numerous ICT companies across the Asia-Pacific region.

EPI is proud to be nominated as one of the finalist in the National Infocomm Awards 2010. The team had presented the EPI Life ECG mobile phone device and EPI 24 hour Personal Health Concierge in the final round of judging on 7 September 2010 at IDA. The results were announced at a gala dinner to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on 7 October 2010.

About NIA Awards
The National Infocomm Awards (NIA) is Singapore’s highest accolade for infocomm innovation. The past winners are infocomm thought leaders in their own right, having inspired others with their ideas. Now into its 5th year, NIA 2010 is set once again to honour inventive providers of infocomm products or services and the innovative use of infocomm.

EPI had been nominated as one of the finalist for the SITF Awards 2010 and competed in 3 award categories: – Start-Up – E-Enterprise – Emerging TechnologyOur innovation, EPI Life ECG phone, together with our 24 hour EPI Personal Health Concierge service, have impressed the judges to be in the finals for all 3 categories. The final judging was conducted on the 15 – 16 September 2010 at UniSIM and the winners for the awards were announced on 30 September 2010 at Fusionpolis, Genexis Theater. EPI is proud to be able to gain recognition as a new startup ICT solutions provider and hope to pave the way for more innovative products and services for the Health care & Medical industry.

About SITF Awards
SITF Awards, organised by Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF), is to provide recognition to innovative ICT Application / Solution which are developed locally. This award, championed by the industry, is an important accolade to the infocomm innovations in Singapore. It shall provide MNCs, local enterprises and institutions, with the opportunity to showcase their innovative product and services. It also offers an excellent platform to create awareness, seek investors and identifies business partners. The judges who preside over the competition are distinguished individuals; amongst them are luminaries of ICT industry, venture capitalists, investors and academia.
