NSF dies after collapsing during training exercise

“A full-time national serviceman (NSF) experienced breathing difficulties during a training exercise on Tuesday and was dead 11/2 hours later.

Private Dominique Sarron Lee Rui Feng, who turned 21 just last week, had passed out at about 12.30pm, following what is believed to have been an asthma attack during urban obstacle training in Lim Chu Kang.

He is the second NSF since last month, and the third member of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) this year, to die while in camp or in a training area.”
